The 2025 Canada Games Host Society and Canada Games Council have officially opened the application process for media to procure accreditation
The 2025 Canada Games Host Society and Canada Games Council have officially opened the application process for media to procure accreditation for the 2025 Canada Games. From August 8 to 25, the Games will bring together over 5,000 athletes, managers, and coaches, across 19 different sports, for the largest multi-sport event in the country.
The request form is the first of a two-step process to securing media accreditation for the 2025 Canada Games. We ask that you carefully read through each question and answer all of them. Once you have submitted the form, the 2025 Host Society and/or Canada Games Council will review each application and follow up with applicants individually. If your request for accreditation is approved, we will follow up with you via email at our earliest convenience and provide you with further details on how to complete the registration process.
Should you have any questions or concerns about the forms or media accreditation for the 2025 Canada Games, please feel free to reach out to Elizabeth Priest, 2025 Manager, Marketing & Communications at epriest@2025canadagames.ca.
Additionally, below is a second form for any member of the media who is unable to attend the Games but would like to be added to our media distribution list. We recognize that there might be media from various parts of the country that will have an interest in covering the 2025 Canada Games from a distance, and we want to make sure that we provide you (along with others) with a mechanism to stay informed both ahead of and during the Games. As such, by completing this form, we will add you to either the St. John’s 2025 and/or Canada Games Council (CGC) distribution lists as requested.
