Meet the Torchbearers!
Over 130 torchbearers will carry the torch in their hometowns as part of one stop in Nova Scotia and 15 stops across Newfoundland and Labrador between June 28 - August 1, 2025.
This group of inspiring torchbearers was chosen from over 500 nominations.
Torch Relay Route
The Orangestore 2025 Canada Games Torch Relay is underway!
The journey kicked off on June 11, 2025, with a lighting ceremony from the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The Roy McLenahan Torch then travelled from North Sydney, Nova Scotia, to Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland, via ferry by our Journey Supporter Marine Atlantic.
The relay will stop in 15 communities across the province, engaging local residents through a series of events and community celebrations before the lighting of the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony on August 9, 2025.
