Welcome to the Canada Games Catch the Spirit (CTS) program!

Launched in 2003 by educators for educators, CTS aims to inspire young Canadians to embrace the spirit of the Canada Games movement. This inclusive, engaging, and educational initiative highlights the positive impact of sports while encouraging future generations to achieve excellence both on and off the field.

Catch the Spirit offers a comprehensive resource guide designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, centered around five key pillars:

  • Arts and Culture
  • Goal Setting and Leadership
  • Healthy Living and Sport
  • Official Languages
  • Unifying Canada

Each pillar features five curriculum-based engagement options, complete with suggested activities tailored to three grade categories: K-2, 3-6, and 7-9. These themes are directly linked to the curriculum, providing a fun and meaningful educational experience that resonates with students at every stage of their learning journey.
